We’ve recently revamped our Blackjack and Texas Hold’em tournaments to make them bigger, better, and oh so thrilling to win. To celebrate, we’re starting Tournament Week today, where we’ll be showcasing the new higher prize, higher stakes tournaments and really revving up the competition on the leaderboards. We’ve also got some big bonuses in store for you this week, so make sure to play every day so you don’t miss out.
Here’s everything you need to know to get into a tournament game, show off your skills, and take home up to a million chips in one go!
TOURNAMENTS EXPLAINED
1) What is a tournament and what are the buy-ins & prizes?
You can play either Blackjack or Texas Hold’em tournaments, which are games that start at a specified time, with a set buy-in. We’ve just upped the stakes and the payouts on tournaments to let your lucky self win huge prizes, as shown in the chart here.
2) What is the payout structure?
Each tournament has a minimum prize pool that initially is split between the top three ranking players. The more players who participate at a tournament table, the higher the prize pool gets, and the number of players paid out also increases.
3) How often do tournaments occur?
There’s a tournament with a different buy-in of 1K, 2.5K, 10K, and 50K happening every 15 minutes. The mega-sized 1 million chip prize pool tournaments with the 100K buy-in occur every night at midnight GMT.
4) What are the leaderboards and how do the Champ points work?
At the end of each tournament, the top 10 ranking players are awarded one Champ point multiplied by the number of players in the tournament, plus the following:
All the Champ points get totalled up daily and players’ rankings are shown in the Leaderboard found in the tournament lobby. There you can see how you stack up against your friends and the rest of the Yazino world.
5) How are Weekly Champs selected?
Every Tuesday at 11PM GMT, all the Champ points are totalled up, and the 1st place winner is awarded a trophy and a place in the Hall of Fame. The top 3 players are awarded chip prizes as shown here:
This is a big change from our prior tournament awards. We’ve just upped the top 3 prizes from 100,000 to a cool 1 million, 80,000 to 250,000 chips, and 60,000 to 100,000 chips!
5) How do I register for a tournament?
Once you login to Yazino, visit the tournament lobby for Blackjack or Texas Hold’em by selecting the game, then pressing the ‘Tournaments’ tab. Here you’ll see the next tournament about to start, just press Register to enter it. Clicking ‘See all Tournaments’ will show you the weekly leaderboard and full schedule.

I’m so excited about the new tournament changes!!! I believe you could improve on a few area of some of the frustrations of being in the tournament though !!! # 1: the music is Aweful ! #2: really preffered the older style tables. #3: for what ever reasons, alot of times other players are not being able to participate, leaving the bidding up to the ( computer) dealer. this effects everyone else’s hands, and can be very annoying when that happens to more than one other player at the table….
other than that, I thouroughly enjoy the blackjack tournaments !!!
